Did the military use run flats in any M939A2?

Looks like I need 5 tubes of lubricant per tire. I’m not having much luck finding any online. Any idea who might have some or is there a more cost effective alternative, because the recommended lube is listed at $35-$50 a tube

Did the military use run flats in any M939A2?

I was able to pick some 3 piece run flats from Feltz. Seems like there’s some sort of lube on some of them. Is this lubricant necessary for anything (heat dissipation like the rubber 1 piece run flats) or is it just aid in ease of installation?

Did the military use run flats in any M939A2?

Do you know anyone besides Feltz that carries the Hutchinson run flats?

Did the military use run flats in any M939A2?

Yeah, I knew the gun trucks ran run flats but they weren't exactly a standard truck. I've never dealt with any of the Frankenstein ROPS trucks so I was unaware they had them but it makes sense. Anyone every retro-fit their trucks with them or is the PITA mounting and balancing them too big of...

    Farm Truck

That's a sharp truck and probably less expensive than a M929, you just need to paint the dump OD green to match and you're all set.

Did the military use run flats in any M939A2?

I'm 99% sure they didn't but does anyone know if the military ran run flat 14.00R20 tires on any of its standard M939A2 trucks?

    Thoughts on Pirelli 14.00R20 tires

Are you talking about re-cap or re-treaded tires?

    M813 Or M35A2?

I've owned numerous M35A2, M813. and M939. The 813 was the easiest to bob because everything is simply bolted on. The M35A2 is a PITA because they used rivets and you have to grind or torch them out. If you add hydraulic or air assist power steering to the M35A2 it's a much friendlier drive...

    Thoughts on Pirelli 14.00R20 tires

I'm looking for a pair of new or NOS 14.00R20 steer tires for my M939A2 tructor. I currently have Michelin XZL all the way around but am running into the issue of not being able to find any NOS XZLs that aren't a small fortune. That coupled with the fact that I've never really loved that the...

    8.3L Cummins from an excavator

I don’t know who did the rebuild so I wouldn’t pay more than used/running price for it. What’s a running take out go for now?

    8.3L Cummins from an excavator

Sounds relatively easy, if you're just dropping it in a donor truck. I don't need an engine right now or I'd just jump on yours, this is just a spare/back up or I may sell it later. What's the ballpark price on a newly re-built one of these?? Thanks

    8.3L Cummins from an excavator

I'm looking at a 8.3L Cummins that supposedly came out of an excavator. What if any difference is there between this 8.3L Cummins and the ones in the M939A2? I'm looking at the subpar pictures the guy has and best I can tell they're similar... If the motors aren't identical what would it take...

    M939 winch clutch lever replacement

Has anyone replaced the winch clutch lever (diagram #13) on a M939. I know it has an allen head bolt on the passenger's side and a keyway on the shaft as well, but beyond that I'm not sure how it's removed and didn't want to break anything else....
