The LMTV doors have two ways of locking and one doesn't activate the other. The exterior lock prevents the door handle from activating the lock mechanism. The interior lock prevents the lock mechanism from operating.
Some trucks have a square window crank driveshaft versus the splined unit. I used some inexpensive VW cranks I found NOS, looks out of place with the VW logo though.
Meritor still shows the gears as a regular production part number, they are expensive however and about a 3-4 month wait.

You can get those new from many European auto manufacturers (VW, Volvo, Porsche etc). I'd avoid buying surplus as they have probably aged out (hence why they were sold as surplus). Rubber does have a shelf life.
Rockwell built the axles then Meritor bought out Rockwell's axle division. You have standard LMTV axles, nothing special. Rockwell, Meritor, and Axletech all made those axles. They are for all intents and purposes the same, the only difference is early axles had a fabricated steel housing and...
I got a quote from them and it was $3200 per gear pair new from Meritor and it would take 120 days.
There are no Meritor gears with a ratio higher than 3.07.
The military does use off the shelf components, the axles are meritor RF-611 axles. In my travels I've not found anything else remotely close to working.
