You will have no idea how many miles are on the truck, it could be 3000 or 30000. The 1998 should be a WTECIII the truck without the data plate who knows. The truck without the data plate will likely be difficult if not impossible to register.
The air powered hydraulic pump is an SPC unit, so any SPC dealer can supply those parts. The spare tire cylinder is hard to find suprman might have a used one.
There is an inner wheel seal, and CTIS seals in the wheel end. Also you should consider replacing the axle bushing inside the axle tube, a leaky seal is often the symptom of a worn out bushing, it's about $40.00

You can interchange the thermal protected starter with the non-thermal. If you are replacing the thermal one with a non you need to wire out the switch that isn't there.
That's not a bad price for two trucks.. If you can part out the big ticket items (engine, trans, axles) those parts should fetch at least what you paid, and then some so getting your money back as a last resort shouldn't be a problem.
A few clarifications.. FMTV is the Family of Medium Tactical vehicles.. This includes the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (4x4 LMTV) and the Medium tactical vehicle (6X6) MTV. Referring to an "FMTV" as a vehicle is incorrect.
