It sounds like you are doing all the right things.
Make sure the airpack is bleeding out all the air that is in it. This can be done from underneath by cracking the bleeder and pulling down on the brake pedal arm. You can catch all the BFS and re-use it if it is clean.
I am sure you...
The free play in the brake pedal linkage is based on the freeplay between the piston in the master and the actuator rod that compresses it.
The distance it takes for your pedal to become firm is irrelevant as you can set the pedal freeplay with a system that has no brake fluid in it This is...
Kevin;
I am so sorry that you lost your dog. A good dog is like a best friend, or perhaps better.
They are there for you always and their love is unquestioning.
Your being there when she died I am sure was a comfort and made her passing easier for her
and although it brought the pain into...
I wanted to compare and list the specs on the 66903
compressed 12.750
max extended 21.750
travel 9.000
Obvious differences are that the shock is slightly longer than stock compressed and extended.
Good to know.

To Clarify:
The A3 Shock is as M35Tom mentioned.
34787 and you may be able to find the oem model 74416
For the A2 and this IS NOT the same as the A3
7539007 a2 2510-00-294-6339 Is the NSN number and part number.
The 753007 is available from several vendors.
I have not found a...
The one M35Tom mentioned, 34787, is just a tad short but will work fine.
The original number 74416 does show up in the catalog and the specs are the same as the NSN.
I also pulled the number for the A2 variant from the repair parts TM and that is easily available in ebay and other sources...
Unless I am mistaken, the fuel tank is on the passenge3r side and the air tanks are on the driver's side.
It is entirely possible you had two switches installed one on each airpack. A picture would definitely clear some of this up.

That is a flex fan and is designed to feather at higher rpms. The creative wiring and other issues you have mentioned tell me that the previous owner was not one to keep the cucv original.
You will need a stock fan blade as well as a thermal clutch. The "fan cluth" is actually a thermally...
If the diesel equipped M35 Series M275 is not anything more than a yard tractor I would guess that the 302 would be a huge gas hog and very weak in terms of pulling capacity.
The price is high for a truck that is not bone stock and restored.

I would suggest you add oil to the airline before the airpack. This lubricates the air valve and the piston. If by chance you add too much oil to the area behind the piston it can cause problems or at least make an infernal mess inside the air pack.
As to the sound of air releasing. If you...
