I guess it could be done. I am not worrying about it unless they somehow loosen up, and then all I will do is change out the studs w/longer ones.
Keep in mind, these will be torqued to around 400lbs....not much will loosen up.

All 3 axles use the same L&R wheel studs.
A budcap is what holds the inner rear tires on, and then the outer rear is placed over the budcap & is held on with a rear lug.
Front lugs have a small inner hole that holds directly to the stud.
Rear lugs have a large inner hole that holds directly...
I will post the Euclid part # here tomorrow when I call my truck shop.
Luckily, they are still in production & are readily available. You will also need the L&R rear lugs to go on them! ;)
I checked it out on my truck today. The budcap trick is what I needed...THANKS! :)
You will need to put the budcaps on ALL the wheel studs before you put the lugs on (front & rear). It gives the extra length needed, and it also fills in the hole a lot better.
Nope.....I am switching them both. The passenger seat can slide back farther...its not mounted yet.
Also.....I only weigh 165! So it will be an "anti theft" device! You cant steal what you cant drive ;) rofl
Here is why I asked.....
I took the seats out of a Bronco II & made adapters so they would fit on spring seats bases. WOW are they comfortable! I need some seat covers now.... ;)
I wanted to see how the hemtt rim would look on my M813 this evening....so I pulled the stock rim off & put the hemtt rim on. Just so everyone knows, the stock wheel studs are too short for these rims. Looks like they need to be AT LEAST another 1/2" longer.
Does anyone know the part # that...

5 tons get STUCK a lot easier than deuces.
I have never been stuck in a deuce.
I got stuck 3 times (twice in my yard & once in my woods) with my 5 tons.

I have sold/promised out 20 of mine. That is all that I will be getting rid of. All of the rest will either go on my 5 tons, get modded into deuce rims, or go into one of my shipping containers for other trucks (that I havent bought yet).
There are a large number of possibilities.
Try these....
1. When you start the truck, pull the throttle out so the truck will idle @ 1000rpms. A LOT of my trucks will die after you start them if the throttle is not pulled out.
2. The glass fuse for the fuel pump could be burnt out. Your...
I bought a bunch of the 2 piece HEMTT rims from OKC over the last few weeks.
For you guys that have put them on your 5 tons already.....are the current wheel studs long enough? If not, do you have a part # of the studs I need?
Thanks!
