Thanks for this thread GasTurbine. I'd like to read back through it a couple of times. Maybe I can figure out how to wire a buzzer to my PTO so that I don't try to take off with it engaged...again. :sad:
Can someone tell me if there's any mechanical adjustment to either the latch or the bracket it grabs onto? Or should I be looking for loose attachment of the latch or hydraulic cylinder instead?

Makes me wonder what brave sand ladder gave it's life to "armor" that exhaust stack...and why it was necessary. (It doesn't look like it stands off far enough to be good heat shielding.)
I've been looking in TM 9-2320-272-10 to try to figure this out, but I haven't found the answer I'm looking for. The mechanism I'm talking about is item "F" on pages 94-95 of the TM.
When I operate my dump body, I have the following issue: the dump will start to lift, hesitate, bang hard...
Are any of these fuel strainers press fit? My 929's strainers are extremely rusty and need to come out, but I have no idea how to pull them. There isn't any threading or lip on the strainer exposed above the threads of the fuel tank so I can't use any type of clamping wrench to get a grip on...
If you get to that point, PM me. As far as that set of wheels you posted, I bet they'd work...but then it's easy to place a bet with someone else's money. :)
