    Veritread poor service

I tried VeriTread on my first gen/ECU trailer. Quote was extremely high but I took it anyway. Then the broker actually looked at what he was shipping, and where it was, and told me that he hadn't realized what all it would take and backed out. I got my money back but haven't bothered even...

    M923 Parking Brake Alarm/Buzzer Delete

Thanks for this thread GasTurbine. I'd like to read back through it a couple of times. Maybe I can figure out how to wire a buzzer to my PTO so that I don't try to take off with it engaged...again.

M929 "Dump Body Safety Latch": Does it bang upon opening?

Can someone tell me if there's any mechanical adjustment to either the latch or the bracket it grabs onto? Or should I be looking for loose attachment of the latch or hydraulic cylinder instead? Thanks.

    Blake's Deuce Mods

Do you park your truck outside or under a roof? I'm wondering how UV exposure will effect your lexan (and thus your solar panels) over time.

    Joint Light Tactical Vehicle. PICTURES

Makes me wonder what brave sand ladder gave it's life to "armor" that exhaust stack...and why it was necessary. (It doesn't look like it stands off far enough to be good heat shielding.)

M929 "Dump Body Safety Latch": Does it bang upon opening?

I've been looking in TM 9-2320-272-10 to try to figure this out, but I haven't found the answer I'm looking for. The mechanism I'm talking about is item "F" on pages 94-95 of the TM. When I operate my dump body, I have the following issue: the dump will start to lift, hesitate, bang hard...

Fuel tank strainer real bad rust

Are any of these fuel strainers press fit? My 929's strainers are extremely rusty and need to come out, but I have no idea how to pull them. There isn't any threading or lip on the strainer exposed above the threads of the fuel tank so I can't use any type of clamping wrench to get a grip on...

    M1101

If you get to that point, PM me. As far as that set of wheels you posted, I bet they'd work...but then it's easy to place a bet with someone else's money. :)

    M1101

Sounds like it's toast. I guess you'll need someone like me to come and get it out of your way... Just kidding. Good luck with the trouble shooting. I hope it doesn't end up costing you more than a couple of aspirin for the headache.

New Rubber Stuart Tank Track Pads

Is anyone else amazed by the simplicity of that rear idler? It looks just like an oversized shop cart wheel!

    Strange M1101/M1102 Cargo Cover ??

Don't plan on it. Sheet metal that thing and make yourself an awesome teardrop trailer.

New Rubber Stuart Tank Track Pads

Very cool. A Stuart tank is #1 on my armor wishlist. Landbarger - who grew up in the town with the same namesake (Stuart, VA).
