I think it would be really cool if you had a pass thru between the cab and slide in.. Maybe you could mod a hard top to use with it and box in the area between the front of the slide in and cab......
Looks nice.I likethe extra space at the back of the bed ..Gives you enough room to put a quad back there with the tailgate down... I would add a 12 volt alt and a couple more batteries so you can run off of 12 volts all weekend when you are camping and still have the truck start like it should...
If you didn't flip the hubs and just ran the rear tires as if you were just using the outers you would have more clearence between the spare and front tire than you would have between the tandums....Ive had my spare mounted like this for over a year and no ill effects.. it has saved my butt...
I've had it on the worst trails haspin has to offer and never ripped it off or bent anything.it clears everything even at full flex and it doesn't stick out past the side of the truck and is fairly protected. .if you can get it on the roof by youself. You could probably just put it in your pocket?
Anytime you weld on a fuel tank it should be cleaned and flushed with water then full of water to prevent fumes from building up inside.. It could still have enough fumes to be explosive after being washed out if left empty.. But yes it can be safe to weld a fuell tank if done properly
You might have had a blown head gasket and hydro locked the motor when trying to start it and not even noticed..The starter on a deuce will power through a hydro lock and bend the rods..Then failure is soon to follow.. thats why you are suppose to crank the motor for a few seconds with the...
They probably couldn't get a title to the truck they had and found someone parting one out and got the title and dash tag from them..If they switched the cab they would have a tile for the frame and probably would have just switched the old tag onto the new cab

Size is one of the biggest factors in mud .Taller means more ground clearence and a bigger contact patch. Wider tires make a bigger contact patch to but do nothing for ground clearence.Taller wider tires are best for mud.airing down helps any tire.Everyone talks about how good ndts do aired down...
