I didn't know there was a difference between tow vehicle and the load. A 1070 is 8' 6" so the would be no need for a permit?

A 1070 HETT has to have permits to be driven on the road with out a load? A friend of mine has one. We drove it home from TN with no problem. I know for a fact the truck isn't over 12' wide and not over 13' 5" high. So what's the permit for?

Since getting the bolster traler home I Have pulled it several times (unloaded) with my F250. I pull it behind the deuce picking up logs for my Woodmizer. I dont think I would be comfortable pulling it with a 3/4 ton loaded!
