    Employment Opportunity: Microsoft Systems Engineers

Hi all. Been a while for me since posting, but I thought I'd put this out to the PNW group. I work at a company I love, as the senior network engineer. The systems engineers I work with are a bit short handed and we need TWO of them. If you're good with the Microsoft stack, good with...

    It's a m309!

Well, it's been a while since I posted on this, but here's an update. When light (mostly empty, maybe 1000 lbs in it) The rig tows well, handles nicely, and is just fine. We of course loaded it up to about 4000 lbs, and had it well stacked to the ceiling. This was not as good. There was...

    srodocker's "little" project

Got your offset wrench and huge torque wrench? Also might need a Valve grind kit from white owl. I probably won't be in town, but if you need virtual help let me know.

    M109A4 Sub-Zero Oil Field

Tell Jason to keep us informed. Rescue teams are standing by! Hope it's just your oil pan. Check your leaky tire around the fittings going from the big valve stem to the ctis valve. Mine had very loose connections with no teflon tape. Pretty easy fix. Keep plenty of water with you (a...

    Cheaper than a tow truck!!

Good follow up idea. if you go dead after pushing the button it could be battery connections, loose wires, etc. Let it sit for 5 minutes with the accessory switch off. That would be enough time for the firewall thermal fuse to reset. Then, turn it on and see if your buzzer starts working...

    M109A4 Sub-Zero Oil Field

When you check the leak, you may have to look from the top to see the front main bearing area. I am hoping that is not it because the oil pan seal is a breeze to change. Mine was the factory stock, still had paint on the bolts. You can get the seal from any cat dealer, about 25 bucks I think...

    M109A4 Sub-Zero Oil Field

Glad to hear its going at least ok! Ok, try disconnecting the passenger side wiper, and see if it reduces the drag enough to keep it running. If you can, remove the rod inside the cab to it I case that's the sticky part. If that doesn't help, you're pretty much stuck with what you got...

Why so many Wreckers at Camp Shelby?

SirMtow, I can answer that question. They are worth whatever you feel like bidding. That's of course subjective, as you might think they are worth 5 million dollars, and I might think they are worth 500. If you wished to shop them a bit, check the old google for m936 for sale. You'll see...

I hear HAM operators on my computer speakers

Hey Gunfreak! Well, you live in the right town for guns. I spent a year or two there with my uncle sam. Simple things. Try different speakers. Try headphones. He is a CB'r "shooting skip" which is slang for attempting long range communication with other CB'rs. Atmospheric conditions...

    Sand dunes....

Glamis- Loose sand, very dry, tends to get deeper off the "sand highway". Try Gecko road before you hit oldsmobile or competition hills, test out a couple of baby dunes. Yes, air down. Yes, get wider tires if you can. Stock rims and deuce, you can run dual 11.00's which is better than dual...

Deuce horn blows on its own

Quick way to remove the horn button, is to remove the ring clip around the rubber button. You can take the screws out, but that takes longer. Lift the button carefully, there is supposed to be a shielded wire running down the center of the column. That's probably not in good shape any more...

    Santa's New Ride Ready.

It's official, Santa Deuce did 100 miles yesterday. Lights on and smiles galore. We're adding some EL wire to the runners to make them shine a bit. It's been absolutely a blast! Now to find a reindeer I can add to the front bumper.

    Santa's New Ride Ready.

After having difficulty accessing several military bases, Santa's elves went to work on his new ride. There will be no trouble now, nor with any bad children. Merry Christmas!

2011 Western WA Dec. Rally, Graham, WA

No Brad. If you had been looking for a lmtv top though, you could of had three!! I saw a great m151 heater setup in Scott's truck though, and now I want one! Plus, the Marines were well represented, with two very nice looking black trucks, and one deuce with more wiring than most...
