I would try grinding the heads off the rivets and then drilling about half way through the center. A punch inserted in the hole and a BFH should take them out easily.

The worst part (aside from damaging the trucks during unloading:evil:) is that Redstone doesn't even know which trucks they have received and which they haven't! I am going to call back today to see if they know if my trucks are on the lot so I can view them.

While it could work, it could also break loose some of the lead and cause them to short out the plates. But if the battery is no good, it couldn't hurt. BTW, remember to ONLY use distilled water in batteries.

I am parting out a M1008 because the engine is blown. Can I use the power steering pump and lower unit on a deuce or is the unit just not heavy duty enough?

Jeez, I just got off the phone with the GL person in Redstone and they don't even have an on site inventory! They can't tell me if the trucks I won are even on base or not! How hard is it to have a freaking inventory?
