    Starting a deuce??

Ditto to a lot of the above. I have to pull my hand throttle out about 3 clicks also, and She'll idle right at 700 to 800 RPMs. I want to do a tune up by the book, that my solve some of my initial start-up issues.

    Strange Exhaust Arrangement 003A

I thought it was a bogus install. The owner and I will gladly remove this "modification" tomorrow.

    Strange Exhaust Arrangement 003A

While working on a 003A genset w/ASK for a Bud of mine, I noticed this strange arrangement of 45's in the exhaust box. Any reason for this being done? I would think you'd want just the turned down 45's that came with the unit to keep water out of the engine. Any thoughts?

    Repro brake light switch alernatives?

Not too shabby considering the parts are made in this country, I'll pay a little more to buy at home. I copied the link for future reference.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavour. Nothin' prettier than a bunch of MV's gathered around for a worthy cause.

How about a sticky for Noob questions?

All good points. If Folks would just title their threads like someone else may need to find them, life and searching on SS would be easier. I usually recommend all Noobs read at least the -10 for their respective vehicle, that would reduce the need to answer repetitive questions. All in all it's...

How long does the Primary Fuel Filter drain For!?

I fail to see the hilarious side of this, but I would look for someone in the classifieds parting out a Deuce and obtain the parts that way.

How long does the Primary Fuel Filter drain For!?

The PO has given you some erroneous information...all it takes is a bump from another vehicle and as Porky said, it will start. I'd look into buying/making chocks and getting that handbrake re-installed. That truck was manufactured with that handbrake for a reason.

    Bump Cap

Good call, we use them at work occasionally. Steam lines, conduits, and ductwork can leave a lasting impression on your noggin.

    MEP-002A oil drain wrench

Sorry I ruffled your feathers, I was just trying to figure out what you had for a valve. Handle? No handle? Missing handle? A lot of Folks that come on the site need a little prodding to understand what exactly do they have, I was just trying to help. But because of your attitude and language, I...

    MEP-002A oil drain wrench

An adjustable wrench (Crescent) seems to work fine. Am I to understand yours is not equipped with a ball valve and handle?

    Air brake warning buzzer.

Wire #85 powers the low air pressure switch. It's not that difficult to replace.

Injectors! Testing, home made pop tester, results.

And I have to agree with Matt, torque values are not very accurate at the end of either side of the scale. Get a good torque wrench and do it right or do it over.

Injectors! Testing, home made pop tester, results.

Did you compensate for your torque value with the offset you used? Manufacturers provide torque values for a reason, maybe you should be concerned?

    My new Deuce!

Nice looking truck....but the "middle finger"? I've never gotten that one in the Deuce...yet.
