Primary fuel filter / water separator question

Carl, I don't know if you got antique tags or not, but if you did, the regular inspection date for all vehicles with ant. tags (after your initial insp.) is April, not your birth month. Many inspection stations don't know this. BC

Primary fuel filter / water separator question

If it is vented, it will have instructions on the outside and the vent tab that you turn will be on the inside. BC

Primary fuel filter / water separator question

Do you have a vented cap on your fuel tank? If so, is the vent open? Perhaps you are drawing a vacuum and when you open the filter, it sucks the fuel back into the tank. I don't believe there is a check valve in the system. I know from experience that you can siphon fuel through an in tank pump. BC

    Driveshaft between T-case and Tranny...

I have no idea if this might be a valid solution and/or help, but here goes. Perhaps certain vibration patterns combined with the direction of rotation contribute to the loosening of those bolts. Might replacing them with proper nuts and bolts with LEFT HAND THREADS reduce the chances of them...

    Field trip to France

Nice Mark, I remember last years pics also and you have lots of nice wide open rolling fields to roam through to get to the Line. Is that all public land ? Or is it private and the owners allow travel across it to get to the various casements etc.? BC
