Mine don't have a # on them. But the paperwork when i bought then list them as MTF250LH. I bought them from botyce equipment and i don't know if this is boyce's # or selectro's. Hope this helps.
I would supplement diesel with it. If your worried only run about 10 to 15% added mix. 85 to 90% diesel will burn just fine. People use alcohol up north to deice fuel any way. I can't rember how hot but bjorn once posted fuel tank temps. If i rember right they were well over 100 deg. Mabye...
I too had thought of the smokey and the bandit run but didn't say it! But there are many crossings with out chicken coops that you may be able to use. I sudjest taking 190 and crossing from Bon wier TX to Merryville LA. You could then take 110 and head back south. I know this will take you out...
You could take SH87 across the ferry from GAL to highisland. This will bypass the weigh station on IH10 just west of wennie. If you contune on to Port Arthur you can cross to camaron la at a small ferry there. If they won't let you on because of the weight. You can contune on 87 through orange...
I may be able to help a bit. I work at the POG alot. I have a pass and i can take you to inspect it while your waiting for it to clear customs. I strongly sudjest not sending it through houston. It will be tied up for days!!!!
My TM 9-236 shows the kingpin to be 241 inches from the center of the axles. If you like i'll mesure the trailor tomorrow and see how far it is to the front of the bed.
The LDS usally has a larger turbo with a exaust brake on them aslo. But alot of them went through a rebuild at toole utah and parts got swapped around. I installed a LDS465-1A in a M35 last feb for a company in north texas. I had to get different pickup tubes for the oil pump and swap the oil...
Good to have you EZ. I know a few guys in beaumont with M35's and there are quite a few in LA. PM mcinfantry. He can tell you everything you need to know about LA laws and M35's.
I've seen one of these trucks at FT HOOD. I thought the same thing. The position of the fifthwheel looks like a trailor would hit. I passed because i firgured my M127 wouldn't work. Isn't there someone here with one of these trucks?
Yep. Its where you put the wiring harness/connector to the radio. The radio mount goes under the pass seat and the connector plugs/screws to the harness that goes to the batteries for power. There should be a knock out/hole on the floor close by to get the power cables to the batteries. The...
He was upset? What's wrong with competition? If you have the cheepest price for the same product. Then you've got my buisness. Whining to the supplier doesen't sound very american to me.
If the 5 ton seats are from a dropside they will work. But the headboard is different. I have ones from a 5 tom on mine now. But the dropsides panels from a 5ton and 2 1/2 ton are the same.
I'll stick with the duals myself. 8 tires can carry more than 4. I load mine and i don't think i could loose the ability to work it when i need to. I will be swapping to 11.00's though. But i'll still have ten. Mcinfantry's truck is done this way. I looks a lot better IMHO.
My M52 has a switch for left and right tanks. But the pass side tank pumps into the drivers side to refill it. I'll probally just run a hose between the two and let them equalize them selves. The guage reads both tanks from the switch and you have to throw a pump switch to fill the drivers side.
