8 weeks and still no insurance!

You sure have a lot of assets at risk, I wouldn't be comfortable with that situation at all.

    Deuce Front End Alignment????

That's a good deal, you came out smellin' like a rose on that one. [thumbzup] I put a brand new set of shocks on my Deuce a few weeks ago, with the little bit I've driven it since then, it seems not to wander so bad on the interstate where most of my driving is done. The old shocks were not...

    Newbie from Colorado

We do have a very active Club, with numerous and different pieces of equipment. There are several Club restoral projects going on all the time for Club members to become involved in. For instance, we are about finished restoring a Gama Goat Ambulance (M792). An ongoing project is our M29 Weasel...

What info can you get from service tag?

Ditto, and that tag is on the cab support and not on the seat base.

Peg and Jim are two of the most generous folks I know. Peg loves to cook for everyone, and Jim will give you the shirt off his back. We miss them, and wish them well in starting their new MV Club in Texas. There is a link in my sig line to our website. You can go there and download an...

What info can you get from service tag?

In some instances, it could be just the MWO (Modification Work Order) that authorized the installation of seat belts. My '71 Deuce has the MWO for this attached to the cab support, the '87 does not, as the belts were factory installed.

    My girlfriend and my M813

I thought I'd throw this one in the pot, seems Marines have all the luck. If you look real hard, there really is a MUTT in the photo.

As far as I know, we are the only MV Collectors Club along the Front Range. I think Wallew down in Dallas recommended you to our Club, if I'm not mistaken.

    Deuce Front End Alignment????

Gotcha, (duh ) An 1/8th of an inch at the rim, would not be same as if you measured an 1/8th of an inch from tread center to tread center. I guess I couldn't get beyond the tires having such an inaccurate surface to measure from. Thanks, Red it all make sense now.

    Deuce Front End Alignment????

I'm curious why you can't just measure from rim to rim at 3 and 9 o'clock? Seems it would be more accurate than the tire surfaces.

8 weeks and still no insurance!

Soemtimes that isn't feasible, I would like my Agent to carry my truck on a company policy (home, auto, etc) also, but they won't insure the truck. If your Agent does find somebody, he's just going to ad that special coverage into your policy, and charge you every month to do it. Save yourself a...

    24volt CUCV engine swapped into 12volt 1983 Suburban 6.2

Besides the starter, isn't there a fuel shut-off solenoid that needs to be changed also?

Help! I need some basic info relatively quick.

Bill I think the M116 had only MEP-002A's and MEP-003A's on them and could be the reason your genset doesn't line up with the existing mounting holes. Sounds as though your big gig in Boise in July might be the Riverfest. I lived in Nampa for about 10 years, and have been to it a few times. I...

Any info on deuce surplus dealer TNJ Murray in Dover DE?

My guess is the Murray Boys have a lot bigger fish to fry. They sell all over the world to large construction companies, small armys and such. Selling a few parts to the little Guy is small change for them, therefore no great effort for good customer service is extended. That's my take. There...
