First off, I took the below pic off google images (I don't know whose truck it is nor do I have affiliation with them). Look at the hook tabs near the top of the cover (in this pic they look like gray-ish circles). See how they line up with the uprights for the bows-- now look on the 5 ton how...

That looks like a 5 ton cover--- look at the side roll up tabs on the side of the cover and pay attention to the spacing of the two near the front.

I did have another m36 that was an a2 with the multifuel. It was a running truck that did make the journey out west, and ironically, ended up back in NJ with its new owner about 6 years later. Had I known that, I would have stashed it in NJ and saved myself the fuel cost. Z

Radio kits were unit level add ons. There were no holes drilled for the antenna or radio mounts at the factory. Measurements and in some cases drilling templates were included with the radio install kits. Z

A1 was spec'd for wood slat racks, wood center top bows and canvas covers--- The later trailers spec'd fiberglass racks, all metal top bows and vinyl covers........ They will all interchange, but they are just not "correct"........ Z

They are all the same...... Racks, gates, headboards, top bows, and covers will all interchange between all m101, a1, a2, a3 Z

Its a spotlight head as found on the adjustable spotlight on the roof of some older ambulances (think M43). They are the same design as a Unity S-6 light if I recall correctly...... It would be of some use/value to someone restoring a field ambulance or maybe a staff/mp car. Z

You know I already make a battery adapter for these-- it addresses the temp sensor and heating element issues----- I don't advertise as much as I should but several members here have bought them...... Anyway, battery size does not matter as long as they are matched relative to one another...

I have a set of four spots reserved right across the aisle from the vehicle display tents in the outdoor section. If the steelsoldiers crowd wants to make that a rally point, its fine by me. Also, Mwmules will be setup right beside me as well. Z

I will be there--- near MWmules. In addition to my usual small stuff that I usually bring, I have some larger stuff that I will bring if I have a dedicated taker. The list includes: m37/m101 rims-- some with tires, some without. The ones with tires would be ok as spares only. WC 1/2 ton rims...
