The original liner in the passenger side fuel tank is very badly deteriorated and starting to clog the fuel pick up from time to time. I've removed the filler neck assembly and have fairly good luck pressure washing out all the old led, scum and most the original liner down to bare metal. It...
I have a lock ring that is slightly out of shape when the tire place removed it, basically, it was bent outward and we can't seem to get it back in place. What is the best way, if there is one, to fix it?
Jason
Anyone near Atlanta or in a 1 or 2 drive rebuild M35 Axles (2.5 ton Rockwells)? I have one that needs to be completely gone through, new bearings, etc. Any recommendations?
Will 5 Ton shocks work, I think there are two length 5 ton shocks, 14 and 18" ones. I think the 14s are the one that should work, just wanted to confirm before I order 4.
Thanks
Jason

A few questions regarding towing my military vehicle. I have a 05 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9l cumming turbo with a banks exhaust brake and a 10 ton duel axle 25 ft goose neck trailer. The vehicle I will towing is about 13500 lbs and the trailer is about 5600 lbs...
Was curious if the standard rebuild or refresh kits that Boyce equipment sells will work with the V100 axles since they have a slightly larger diameter. I know the standard paper gaskets will work, but I'm more concerned about the inner and outer spindle hub seals. I noticed I have a oil leak...
Ever since I started driving the V, I had an issue with it wanting to drift from one side to the other while driving. It was a bit of a pain to keep her going straight down the road. Originally, I thought it was the old warn out original tires so I put a set of NOS ones I had on it. Still...
Picked this up the week before last. All I knew it was a 30.06 ammo chute made by Standard Armament and was about 48-49" in length. Arrived last Friday and was very pleasantly surprised when I found a part number on one of the ends and the part number is the correct one for the long (right...
Wanted to see if there was any interest in having a few new weather boots for wide turret (the one with the smaller vision block on the front) made up. Spoke with David P. about a possible run of a few and wanted to see how many people needed one and were interested. Price will be what ever...
Does anyone have a spare 5 Ton Truck (20" wheel) Split Ring/Lock Ring that I could get ASAP. The Tire shop that was changing out my tires streched it and now it won't work. If so, please give me a call at 404-665-6411. A case of beer would be involved for helping.
I was playing around with the turret today and noticed that I might have a 30/50 turret. Right now it's set up for twin 1919A4s, but looking at the round tubes the barrels go down, I'm starting to think that it might have been a 30/50 at one point. Here are some of the pictures I took this...
What type of valve stem is used on 5 ton tire tubes (specifically the Michelin G20 15.5XR20) when mounted on the budd style rim with lock ring?
Thanks
Jason
About to replace the tires on the V with a set of Michilen G20 radials and I need to get a set of tubes for them. What is the correct tube stem type / model. Also, can i run bias ply tubes in radials, I've heard that you can't, but you can run radials in bias ply tires?
Thanks for the help...
About a month ago I took the v to a car show about 2 miles from my place with no problem. One the way home it felt as though my brakes were starting to drag and my wife who followed me home said that the brake lights came on while in the neighborhood. When I parked in the driveway, turned her...
Very complete on the inside, turret is complete, all panels present, needs some cleaning up and eventual restoration. Turret firing system works, even the little light works. Only thing I might need is one or two sets of "carbine" top and bottom mounts. Not 100% sure yet. I know I need at...
Have a bit too much petal play (more than I like) and a little soft so I bled the line from the master cylinder to the power assist and had one or two large air bubble comes out. Now it seems to be much better, still a little more travel than I like. Since I don't know the exact history of the...
