Good feedback here fellas. I think the insurance thing is the biggest consideration. Also, making sure they are central enough to encompass a decent segment of the SS population in the area.
Using sites that have insurance will really help out. Places like Haspin, Rausch, Badlands...
Insurance is an issue Bigbee. That's why Haspin has worked out nicely. The Rallies would be better off on public land in some sort of park or in a privately owned OHV park with their own liability insurance. The thing that worries me about having an SS Rally on someone's private land, like...
Sounds good Nick. Are you volunteering to take charge of it? If so, we'll need to get a couple of guys to help you. We'll need to pick a name for it, pick a place for it and pick a time for it. Figure out the basics and I'll create a new forum for it and we'll get the ball rolling!

Anyone have any experience behind the wheel of one of these trucks. I am curious to know how well they ride unloaded and also how well the rear steer works.

A Mid-Atlantic Rally: VA or NC

I have one, but it's in a box somewhere in WV. I really need to dig that thing out and scan it in! I'll see if I can get someone to go to my house and look for it.
Eastwood Company sells quite a few different types of abrasives. I'm not sure how they compare price-wise. Here's the link to the abrasives page: http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=1313&itemType=CATEGORY&path=1%2C2%2C1310&KickerID=243&KICKER
My Dad went to the local Deka battery dealer. They told him he needed to sign some paperwork saying he wouldn't export them to terrorists or something. No big deal. One guy I have met before at MV shows is Kevin Emdee from Star Electric. He was very nice and always stocked 6TL's. I haven't...
