I just checked with my multimeter they were about:
1. 11.9
2. 8.7
3. 7.7
4. 3.8
I'm thinking I might just have to buy at least one for now and switch to a 2 battery system. I don't own a charger right now I was just going to try and jump it but they're pretty far gone for that I think. Once...
Yes it is 12 volts. I just thought I remembered someone mentioning that you could do it without unhooking most of the battery cables in the truck that's all maybe I'm remembering it wrong or out of context.
Either I left the battery switch on this whole 3 day weekend or my daughter bumped it either way the trucks dead. I had to use my wife's vehicle this morning since my 5 ton is also my daily driver.
I searched and searched all day while at work but I'm having some trouble hunting down exactly...
I'm pretty sure that is for taking oil samples to be analyzed before oil changes. I never did that on m939s but they made us on m915s probably because we were a long haul company and put on thousands of miles.
Sorry I didnt watch the video but I immediayely thought the spare tire trolley thing too since mine made so much racket I put it in the toolbox. MY spare tire also has a chain wrapped around it holding it in place I never knew that until the end of it came loose and was dangling under the truck...
Had a meeting with my local military club, had 3 models in bikinis posing on the vehicles for a local magazine spread. No amateur photography or I'd have some pics to share, once I'm able ill post a few.
Haha yeah, I just meant truck didn't seem to hit 200 degrees so it wasn't hot enough to kick on today that's all. Sounds like a jet turbine when it's going.
Thanks got it apart needed a better set of pliers and some more elbow grease. One of the o rings was half gone so I think that will hopefully fix my problem. Truck ran great today but never actually hit 200 so not sure if the fan is working or not but I did notice I wasn't losing my air...
Is there a secret to getting the shiny silver end off of the brass part of the shutterStat? I'm ready to work on mine and couldn't get the cap to budge.
Yes its pretty easy. Look under hood where accelerator linkage is and you'll see the shift modulator connected to it you just adjust forward or back. Forward smooths it out.
Thanks I had a feeling it was something along those lines. I plan on picking up a 24v to 12v converter because I also plan on adding a CB I just wanted a radio right away.
Mines my daily driver so I finally installed a stereo. For the time being I just tapped the 12v terminal which is also for the low heater. Not 100% sure why but every time I start the truck I lose my preset stations a little annoying but ultimately having tunes at all is a huge bonus.
Also...
Thanks for the alternator clarification, i had no idea that worked that way. After sitting next to my truck with these instructions i did the gov springs in maybe 20 mins i had been nervous to try. And even with the instructions i ALMOST lost that keyway, you're not kidding watch out with that...
