I'm considering a straight pipe in the future. Is it alot louder at idle/low rpm? I go to work kinda early just trying to be semi respectful to my neighbors
I don't think I could've gotten that washer to budge. I did want to be able to easily switch it back should the need ever arise. 2 mins with a flathead and it's lined back up.
If it helps anyone, the problem my truck had was someone at some point put the low transfer front drive washer on the wrong side of the little air actuator. So it was stuck on. I just unscrewed actuator and shifted it down so washer wont touch it at all and screwed it back in. I don't want...
Thank you very much. As I said I'm new to owning a diesel and was a little nervous about switching to biodiesel. I won't be storing it for any amount of time my truck is basically a daily driver and I'll only be fueling up at a reputable station. Sounds like besides keeping an eye on...
Thanks for the replies. I understand bio cleans or the system and I'll have to change filters more often at least at first and it gels easier in cold. I just wasn't sure about seals etc deteriorating due to 99% and if 20% won't. Looks like I'll probably switch to 20% until it warms up the...
I'd base some of the truck's worth to you on if you just want a 5 ton or if you have use for the 5th wheel. Personally I'd rather have a cargo with cover so that was worth a little more to me when deciding on Max price. I paid $3500 including fees
To me this sounds like a dumb question but here it goes. I have a M923A2 with 8.3L cummins. I'd like to stay using some biodiesel from a reputable station. They have 99%, 20%, and 0% bio. The 99 is alot cheaper so my thought is to use rewards points to get my Dino diesel elsewhere cheaper...
Driving through New York was not for the feint of heart. I've been driving trucks for 18 years, if I was a new to driving something this size I'd say there's a good possibility I'd have hit someone. They would cut me off with inches to spare while we were going around 45 mph on 95N.
One of...
There were a few hiccups on the way down from RI mostly just the train being late which caused us to miss the last hotel shuttle. Luckily got 2nd to last cab. Left hotel and swung by to meet Suprman (Will) great guy very very informative and helpful all around great guy. Wife drove the rental...
I'm (not so) patiently waiting until this Thursday March 13 to head down towards New Castle to pick up my M923a2 I bought almost 2 weeks ago. Even though its not extremely far away the wife and I decided to make a short vacation out of the trip (yay no kids for 2 days). We are taking a train...
I'm picking my truck up Friday I'm already excited to do some of these mods. Although I think I'll stick to just the screw on top and star wheel, I might mess with the gov springs eventually but seems like just those 2 might be enough to make me happy....of course depends on how much of a dog...
