I did mine the same way. The less bare metal and welding, the lesser chance for rust. The panel bonder is awesome and structurally as strong as welding.
I can bet the people complaining are usually driving a Prius or foreign fuel efficient car. I have a name for them, but since this is not a Political thread/website, I will refrain.
In the last year, in Michigan, they have cracked down hard on Commercial vehciles. In my area the Sheriffs tend to focus on the 1 Ton and smaller landscape guys. I was pulled over last month by a Motor Carrier. He let me fix everything on the spot and just asked me to mail in the citation...
Ahead of schedule. Hung the exhaust today and went for a test drive. WOW. What a totally different ride. I have a oil leak I need to fix and then I will check the MPG's.
Possable Typo

Before I give details about my recovery, can anyone tell me where to get a TM so I can figure out how to safely use my new wrecker? I cannot acsess them on SS anymore?
Drove 4 hours to recover my new M816 at Wright Patterson today. Got there to find most all tools were still in the truck...
Got it
15 Days. Just got it this afternoon. Bad thing is I smoked the rear end in my 1 Ton dually and had to have it towed to the shop today. As soon as I had to call the tow truck, I told my wife, watch my EUC will get approved now.
If she doesn't have the ring yet, she will be more likely to tolerate this behavior. If she is like my first wife WAS, she will just smile and let it go. It's after she gets the ring that rules are set and things change. Buy all your toys now.
