Well i failed to make it over there today, worked till 2, yard closed at 3.
Also i dont have enough to make an offer on the whole thing
I was really hoping someone local would jump on this and i could go in on it with someone.
Anyways i will go there this week (monday looks rainy/ yard turns to...
Have you jacked up the front and and turned lock to lock?
Your axle shaft ujoint are in good shape?
What did the fluid look like that came out?
And i would have installed a filter when replacing the pump, most require it to uphold warranty.
Bump
Anyone in MD or southern PA going to the show?
Need to get 4 load binders picked up from stonepicker, he is in Rockville MD for the weekend, then traveling west
Thanks in advance
Looking good
Have you heard of a boost bolt? threads into the upper intake where the hole goes into the intake area. Think they are available on pmd cable.com, Little late for you but could help someone else in the future.
Also i like your exhaust, what size pipe is that?
Ok deleted i had written because i dont want to be political
Best of luck dealing with the goverment,
Write to your congress man,
And re read all the guidelines for EUC's, The "should" thing really sticks out to me, maybe there is an appeal you can file
Ok i will not be able to go back until friday or saturday
Too bad i am actually busy now getting into a new job, if only i had found this a month or two ago
I will ask them about taking the whole vehicle, but it is already sitting on the axles(no wheels), and about 5 cars into a row all blocked...
Wow lots of interest
Ajsmith is first for the rear shackle mounts, there are not shackle/clevis, just the bar that they pin onto
I guess i will have to go back with a full toolset,
Please post requests in this thread so i can track them all in one place.
I plan to go strip the thing completely
Rad, brush guard, buck seats, rear bumper, trailer hitch
It also has A/C, but only one alt. Worth it to grab the brackets for the compressor that go in place of gen 2?
The rear roof is good too
I am afraid of how much they will want for all these parts...
Nice truck i hope you are keeping the box on the rear.
And +1 for electric impact by snap on. I forget i have it most of the time, but when i use it, it works well.
I remembered this thread, glad i could find it..
I was interested in how fast my truck would go. I has just finished calibrating the speedo(drive 60 time how long it takes to go 1 mile, also watch odometer to see it turns 1 mile) When i was done i held my foot to the floor.
It climbed up to 80...
I think high altitude is the problem.
Yes less fuel should mean less smoke, but do you exclusively drive in high alt?
I would go turbo to help restore performance, but thats costly
Could start cheaply by opening up your air intake some. More air could compensate for the lesser amount of oxygen
Bringing up the dead
You ever run into any issues with this ace?
I just picked up a diamond plow for 90 bucks. Blade and headgear. No lower mount. Think its a newer plow, as it has the pins on the a frame, and the new style headlights.
I plan to make something like this instead of spending...
The 89-93? Not really sure on years, but some early 6.5 civy diesels have a vacuum pump with a tach sender on it too i believe.
Not sure if it will interchange with the mil tach though, worth looking at the junkyard though
