Not a great way to celebrate Veteran day!...CUCV lost power and died on freeway
Check to see if the return fitting on the pump is clogged with brown/black debris. Mine was plugged, I broke out the glass ball/check valve and drove it like that for a while. The flex ring disintegrated and the 2 parts rode together a while. The replacement part was 1 piece, no flex ring... -

Can't see the instruments at night
Yeah, mine too. Mine is lit up well enough to see if I'm doing 55 or 65. The fuel gauge does what it wants anyway, I don't pay much attention to it. I think someone here cleaned theirs up and painted the inside of the cluster white or silver, and used some white LED bulbs in it. Blue LED's... -

When I do anything with the cooling system, I use a coolant "burp" funnel I got from the tool truck guys. It works pretty well, has a lot of different fittings and gaskets, one for the GM stuff as well. Just let it run with the funnel in place til the air bubbles stop. On the other hand, if... -
