I know it's been covered, but I can't seem to find it- I'm looking to replace my M35 tail light bulbs with brighter led bulbs (don't want to spend the money for full led housings) and more importantly I want dual voltage led bulbs for my trailer so I can run it behind a 12 or 24 volt vehicle...
Definitely interested, but with commercial "universal kits" for big trucks being about $850 (which are made to be easily adaptable to any rig) the price would have to be good; not giving them away but resonable. If you want to try to sell them for a resonable rate, PM me.
Thanks and yes they are really heavy! A friend just got a 35 ton crane and wants a trailer to use with it for general use. This should work well for anything around 10k, probably good for 15k for short low speed use.
I recently did the inside of my deuce with this stuff http://www.alsliner.com/
It is a real 3 part polyurethane that chemically hardens like line-x. Chemically speaking, it is the same material as all the other professional materials. It works 10x better then herculiner and similar products...
I don't think of it as (or do it because of) tax evasion; it's recycling in its simplest form, plain and simple.
You are reusing a waste product, to me it is no different then a farmer making compost instead of buying (and paying taxes on) fertilizer. And its environmentally freindly.
All states regulate fuel; some regulate "blending", but most don't regulate or have laws pertaining to the use of "fuel additives" like octane boost, anti gel, lubricants, and others which are legal. If you are adding oil, wvo or anything else to diesel and get checked, tell them you are using...
Porting the head may be a little extreme, but I've read (on this site) that the intake tube casting (turbo to intake) is a really rough casting and smoothing it out gives substantial gains for minimal effort. IF done properly, the lower turbulence/restriction here will give more boost and lower...
This is a deuce, but the concept is the same. It looks great. FYI- the rears are 11-20, same as stock 5 tons.

One inch isn't much, but the 6"+ of the stock springer isn't helpful either. 2" to 3" of progressively increasing compression would be ideal. Maybe I'll keep looking, there are lots of air springs out there.
You can get air ride seat springs like these on ebay for $15 for a set of 2. Has anyone tried using them with a place of the spring on a stock springer seat? Seams like an easy mod and it would certainly ride nice.
