See the rivets on the mirror housing? there are 2 of them. File or grind them off. The rest will come clear. :D
Now, how do you put them back together? Pop rivets????
A Pressure Washer Sand Blaster? Nevaah-heardofit
Hey, Thanks for the Harbor-Freight Suggestion. They have a deadman valve / gun I'd like to try. :o
Hopefully it will work better than the Northern Tool one.
I'm fairly certain the M1009 runs 15" rims. The HMMWV tires are 16.5. I don't believe GM made a 16.5 rim with a 6 bolt pattern.
HMMWV tires are in a 36" bias ply or a 37" radial. Those are a very tall tire to run on the stock GM Corporate 10 bolt 1/2 ton axles. I would suggest upgrading to 3/4...
I'm using a pressure pot type.
I need to find a different gun, I'm only finding siphon guns. I made up my own nozzle, out of pipe, adapted down to 1/4" and put a cap on it. I'm currently working on hole size for the cap, I'm somewhere between 1/16" and 1/8", it's still plugging up.
Without a...
About $3.50 for cheap. Haven't seen over $3.90 yet.
About that shale oil. A good producing well pumps itself as it's under pressure. An OK one needs to be pumped. Now contrast that with the procedure in the article. Lots more stuff going on there and they don't mention the chemical processes...
Ummm, I'd suggest reading up on it before dumping filtered veggie oil, mixed or not, in your tank.
Sure it works but you should know what to expect and what will work best for you before just jumping in.
I don't understand the finger over the nozzle bit. Air pushes sand through the hose to the nozzle. The valve on the end, a deadman, acts the same as having your finger over the nozzle :?: :?: :?: :?:
Got one from Northern Tool. They all look about the same.
Using 30 grit sand, not the play sand. The ceramic nozzle lasted about 2 minutes
Still worked pretty well though until I released the deadman valve. Then the hose would fill up with sand and my next spray would be a 2 to 3...
I pulled just about everything. Going to put in a 6.5 Turbo. Everything would be 12v except the winch. Hmmm sounds complicated now. I think I'm going to pass on the winch.
My CUC-azer is 12v. I found a 24v winch. I should be able to figure this out myself
I'll be using deep cycle batteries and the question is can I run 12v & 24v off both batteries? Am I wrong in thinking the Military used only one battery for the 12v stuff and two to get 24v?
