What RPM do you guys Get the Best MPG's at?

It's little hard to figure w/ how we fuel but, We seem to get around 8.5 in the She Beast running around 2,100 - 2,200rpm w/ 395's at 30psi in the rear and 40psi in the front . . . pulling a 105, and we do NOT live where it's flat. No pump fuel used. (and I think I need to turn her fuel down...

    24v circitbreaker for 109 box?

Yep, right over the fuel tank. There are 15, 20, and 30 amp breakers. And I just found it! Listed in the -209-20P . . . page 460 / illustration on 471. It is a 15 amp Thanks

    24v circitbreaker for 109 box?

I've been digging through TM's, searches, etc. I'm not finding what I need! I need to replace the breaker on the outside, front, pass-side of the box . . . and I'm not finding the amp rating for it. Anyone? This is holding up an order of parts, so I could really use some help on this. Thanks

    Filtering with diaphragm

Where did you get the bases? I'm guessing that you found, or made, some bases that don't have a by-pass?

    Filtering with diaphragm

Yep, they rip out after that  NO I'm using spin-ons and the bases have a by-pass that opens at 15psi

    Filtering with diaphragm

I do use a diaphragm pump to filter, but not that one. I use one like that to transfer from their tanks to my collection tanks. After that I've been using a single diaphragm pump to push, NOT suck, through filters (3). I do this only because it's 24v and I can do it when we are in travel mode w/...

    REPAIRED near Roosevelt Lake AZ

Thanks to all! Thank you everyone! It feels really good to know that after 32 years of living & traveling around the land in my rigs I now know a crew of people that will go out of their way . . . way out of their way, to make sure that they have your back. Thank you so much for that! I'm now...

    REPAIRED near Roosevelt Lake AZ

Thanks all, I'm now headed farther south. Will keep you'll updated. Gimpy, I'm going to keep it under 50 so that doesn't happen to her ;) Warthog, can we change the "911" to "Repaired -".

Copy that. I'm hoping to pick one up from Jack in Tucson when I hit there either tomorrow or the next day. Can't leave that kind of thing on my lady's rig.

Thanks, the fan straightened out just fine, using the built in anvil known as the front bumper, so I'm good there. Thanks for stopping and hangin out while I worked on putting it back together ;) I hope yours goes together well. So it's all back together, water pump, straightened fan, rad, . ...

Thank you CB and the man w/ the parts , We now have another rad & water pump, along w/ some coolant Now I doing that thing that we do in the SW, . . . waiting, waiting for the sun to drop down some. The mid-day hiding from the sun . . . it's a tradition ;) So far we haven't found too many...

    REPAIRED near Roosevelt Lake AZ

CB is on his way, should be here any time now. The one thing that concerns me a bit is the turbo. I did shut it down w/o letting it idle ;) I'd been running at 2000-2100 rpm, on mostly mild down-hill grades w/ a few climbs. She was reading around 200 on temp, and it has a D turbo. Should I...

    REPAIRED near Roosevelt Lake AZ

Nice pecs Gimpy. I pulled the rad and fan off then fired it up and did one of those crazy u-turns using the ditches of this little 2-lane, ran back to a pull-off over the lake. CB can get me a rad and water pump from a buddy and will bring them out tomorrow, just need to call him back (now...

The She Beast just lost her water pump and it ate the Rad! Anyone in the area that can drag me out of here? I'm just south of Bachelor Cove, running solo and pulling a 105. Any help would be appreciated :)

Camper M109 - Spacial Transformations style

Yeah, Bring down a tricked out ambulance w/ a M416 (or the like) and we could have a "No-Tech" Expo camp :) The brackets from the step / tool box are not strong enough IMHO. W/o sides on it, it will flex from standing on it (and I'm only 150#). The tank came w/ the brackets and they are much...

Yello Bronc, are you really selling your set up? How'm I going to be able to hang w/ you and mister Casa Azul if you get rid of yours? Just noticed that in 6 more post you will be pure evil

Camper M109 - Spacial Transformations style

I'm not sure what it came off . . . other than it was a friend's dump truck. I can check. It's a 50 gal tank @ 95% full. 36" long, 23 1/2" deep, 16 1/2" high, not counting holding brackets. That leaves 36" back to the mudflap and the stock tank measures at 40". It would take some real stuffin'...

Contrary to Mr Gatos take on it ;) we are not only going but the She Beast is a featured vehicle this year :) We did go last year (we were in the area) and they are liking their tech. We are going to show that you can do it on the cheap & simple ;)
