First off let me say that we are traveling and do not have access to many of the things back at Base Camp.
We have just recently done over 400 miles, about 275 of it on dirt tracks, and have been collecting and using WMO as fuel. About 30 miles after one of our "fill ups" the 109 started...
That's great, I've been wondering where I can get the ether cans for my truck. It already has the ether set-up . . . I just need to get one of the cans. Do you think theirs would fit? . . . or does someone know where I can get an standard issue one?
I've thought about doing that as well. Would it drop the sound by the same amount w/ a second one on? We have one already, and room for a second one above, on the She Beast.
I'm in the process of replacing that right now, I'll rebuild the one I take off as a spare.
There is a good set of photos in this thread, post #5

We did that one too. HF had a 45 watt panel kit, charge controller w/ diff volt output ports, and some odds and ends. Same cheap kit I run on my van. Had a frame made so that I could attache the whole thing to the fork mounts for our bikes on the rack. Wired the panels together and into a...
That is true.
That would prob do the trick. Will have to see if that's something I can change, and if I ran a longer belt I think I could include the 24V in both belts.
That warranty thing . . . you guys are smart . . . I'll have to ask about that
I'm not going to hijack this thread w/ wheel talk, I'll post that on my other thread.
I'm back in the desert and have found the photos that I mentioned earlier.
I'll post a write-up here
Have heard that we could have a prob w/ the fact that both the 12V & the 24V systems have a common ground...
I finely got time to work on our 24V/ 12V alts replacement.
I started by mounting a replacement 24V, that was pretty much strait forward. I then mounted the lower mountings points on the 12V to the replacement adjusting bracket that was part of the kit. This was were we started into the...
We did the duel Alts from Wolverine Tech, I did mod their set up some, sent them photos and a description of what I did. Seems like they really liked it [thumbzup] They made noises about changing their kit.
I KNOW
nopics
But I am on the other coast from the "She Beast", I'll look around and...
How'd you do that? You must be "Da Man".
I just went that route before my 400 mile trip ( no time to mail order anything in) and I checked all the ones in the box (was waiting for the other gaskets to arrive, spacial order) . None of them even came close to fitting.
Dang . . . you guys that have access to all these MV parts and pieces are sure lucky.:jumpin: Out here I have to make due w/ bits of old wood and rusty metal. Being that I don't have any metal fabbing tools sure doesn't help either.
Your rig is looking sweeter every day [thumbzup]
That is exactly what I did, drilled two holes through the floor in each wall section. I did have to soak my drill bits in gasoline afterward to clean them. I would say that there are no drain holes because of deep water fording. I think these boxes were water tight to the bottom of the windows...
