    A bottle of ether is cheaper than any extras you might add on to assist with cold starting. A tank should last you a couple years. Ideally, you should have both ether and a block heater. If you can't afford $45, you're in the wrong game.

    Fusible link wire is often on those red "help" cards from Dorman, or can be bought in short lengths or in bulk at NAPA or Autozone .

    Use the parts TM, 9-2320-365-24P. The -20 that you are using is good for service repair but to find pictures, use the parts tm.

    You can just cut off the rubber lines and reuse the fittings. Never change tanks on a new to you truck, this has left many guys stranded.
