Okay, I won't look for you in October. My avatar is the WWII camp setup @ the front gate one year @ Knob Creek, don't remember which one! Enjoy your new truck & teach soldier"B" to drive it, she will be having a ball in the Commanders seat!
Welcome aboard & enjoy your immersion into the Green Iron Disease, you really made a big first purchase all @ once. Lots to work on to start with. Soldier "B" will be a world of help that you can't find on here for any price so you are set. The rest of the info will come from here & the TM's we...
Since I live in Florida, the two M1102's I bought from GL, are required to have a Bill of Sale to get registration & a tag only, since they are both under 2000 lbs. The title is a not going to happen deal, so there is not much more that I can do @ this point. A Bill of Sale is free, the Title in...
You have way too much fun @ the auctions & bring home some of the best finds I've seen lately. Keep up the good work, not to mention posting your goodies for us to critique!
If you lose a volt a day, there is something seriously wrong in the battery/wiring system. The fact that you even have such a short term problem might warrent a main battery cutoff switch till you can find the real culprit. Make sure that the new main cutoff is keyed you you are also adding a...

Not being an expert on battery charging, but shouldn't your voltage be around 27.5 to 29.0 vdc when the unit is running? 24.4 VDC is just the batteries charge showing, not the extra uumpf from the alternator showing that current is flowing to the batteries.
Thats because the trucks are built to Mil-Specs & this condition was probably thought of years ago, just not the sell off to the GP that is occuring again. They wanted the trucks to run under all conditions, including, sitting for long periods of time. We are lucky that we can continue to add to...
When your wife gets tired of the 1078 in the yard, I'll be first in line to take it off your hands...................
Nice Hmmwv you got there, you really don't stop do you?
I got one of those trucks from auctionaddict that came from Warner Robins AFB back in March of this year & the tank was relatively clean on the bottom, but had that red stuff on the sides of the tank. The fuel pump works great, but it has not been pulled out to be closely inspected. During...
