Nope Deuce just means it is a 6x6 2 1/2 ton, early ones were gas, then mutifuel without turbo, A2's should all have a c or d model turbo and the 1987-1989 USAF contract M35A2C has a dual brake system all the others a single. Then the M35A3 is a whole different story.
The fixed part of the clip is made for going down the highway, keeps the antenna bent down. The snap out part is meant for off road, if limbs get caught in the tie down it allows the antenna to pop loose and not get broken or snagged by the tree limbs.
Wow and I was upset yesterday when replacing a right rear wheel cylinder to find oil in the hub. Looks like someone in the past didn't do post fording maintenance. Are the others the same?
