    Geared hub question

There is no reason the seal is needed unless you are running CTIS, with the plug in the steering arm it's just like any other hub

What belt do I need for my 6.5 humvee??

Not sure what to say, RWH should be along, he has more experience than anyone with what belt fits what. Meanwhile is that a 400A or a 200A and what is your serial number, you can X out the last three.

    Help ID sheathed cable.

The heater control cables are solid not stranded, Pretty sure this is not a HMMWV part.

    M1123 transmission

Common sense dictates the place all those wires break out of the harness should be around the rear of the left valve cover, but sometimes common sense plays no part in the building of the HMMWV

    M1123 transmission

If you look at this you will see the trans light wires come out of the same harness (see the loop around the wires that the arrows are pointing to, that is a harness sheath) as the brake switch, the TPS, and the ESS break out of. The ESS and the TPS go into sheaths of there own but not the...

    M1123 transmission

I do not want to seem like an alarmist but you really need a working trans light, not having one can cost you a complete rebuild when the problem could have easily been taken care of before it got out of hand. There are problems that do not even set the MIL light but do set codes, having a...

    M1123 transmission

Maybe someone else can come in here and say exactly where the wires should be, I would think they would be somewhere between the left rear of the engine and the shifter but really don't know.

    M1123 transmission

Look at the pages I referred you to, you can use a SMALL 24V test light OR your new trans light between the 12V positive and pin U on the TCM connector (page 140), then put a jumper from pin EDIT A to E on the J2 connector (page 60) and get the codes. IF you are POSITIVE the cables have been cut...

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

You have no idea, Harris county stripped the crud out of that truck, took EVERY electrical component and cut every wire doing it, took the front half shafts, all the steering gear components and the sway bar, seat belts, dog house, battery cables, passenger seat,, I mean everything they could...

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

You know it is funny, I guess,, EVERYONE told me getting a Heeler was a mistake, she'll tear everything up, too much energy bla bla bla. I only met two people with Heelers, one was Austin (beltfed on fleabay) and they loved them. In only 9mo she is by far the best dog I have ever had, lots of...

Yes but you can see that is a MUCH heavier cable!

    Help ID sheathed cable.

looks a little light to be a brake cable, would not mind having a few as these would be easy to modify.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I am building the DuraVee into a low profile helmet top from this truck, I guess a man only needs one.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

I'm sorry, I see what I said could be taken more than one way, I am selling the Detroit, I have taken that project as far as I wanted to. Diggy Dog is only about a year and a half old and Australian Cow Dogs (Red Heeler) can live for 20 years or so and she has been given a clean bill of health...
