Newbie here! Just bought my first MV m931 and excited to say the least...

It has 16.00 tires, not 14.00s? Most of the truck is standard with a small spattering of metric fasteners, mostly on the engine.

    M1061A1 customizing, campers/vans/boxes, etc

Carnac has some expandable shelters for sale that would be perfect for your use.

    M1061a1

Yes the lines cross over each other. They should be labeled on both truck and trailer anyway though.

    M932a1 Rear Brakes Stuck

Usually they break loose easier in reverse. I'm not sure why.

    New to me m108 2.5 ton crane/wrecker

Understood. Doesn't hurt to ask. So you guys are goin to trailer it instead of a lift tow right? By the way Ron, I'm sorry I didn't get to stop by on my way through. It just wasn't in the cards. I'll shake your hand someday though.

When is someone going to bob a HET?

It you had a real smart machinist type fella, he might be able to make a set of replacement gears for the wheel end planetaries to get a higher ratio. That's one thought to make it more driver friendly. I don think you can just remove the planets and go direct drive. It would seem that any way...

    M932a1 Rear Brakes Stuck

X2. I use a ten pound sledge though. I have 22 of these trucks here and this is a constant fight. If you do use a ten pound hammer, don't use a full swing or you'll damage the drum.

    What did you guys forget?

    Steering problem. Bad.

Acesneights1, it would be a good idea to pull the steering box and inspect the frame regardless. They can crack and spider behind the box and around the bolt holes where you'll never see it. Also, have you ever noticed if either of your hubs had partially rotated toward the lock position after...

    Mighty Mite registry

Well, looks like this was a flop of a thread. I thought it would be fun.:shrugs:

When is someone going to bob a HET?

Bigger tires? The thing sits on 16.00s as it is. What is there that is bigger save for tractor tires or mining truck tires?

    Red's deuce/camper project

Ok had to look again at the exhaust exit. I couldn't see the end after you painted it in the picture.

    1009 6.2 NA regear with a 700r4

With 33 inch tires and the 700r4 you need 4.10s. any lower gear would be too much reduction, any higher would be sluggish behind the 6.2

    Red's deuce/camper project

Nice work. Are you concerned that the spring may hit the exhaust under the bed when you get off pavement? And I suppose you are going to turn the exit out the side and run it past the mudflap so you can smoke out some cyclists?:naner:

Found metal chips in oil, still runs great

You could pull the radiator and then pull injector pump gear cover. I think it will either be right there, or your cam started walking and the gear got the cover. The crank could have done the same thing but it would have to be cracked or have some badly worn mains. Either way it is no longer a...

Deuce was dead on side of the road.

It seems that it really does not matter what kind of filters you run or anything like that. If it wants to give up the ghost, it will.

When is someone going to bob a HET?

45mph isn't a problem. There are two bunks in the back.

Mounting remote brake master cylinder reservoir

Hey man, some parts fell off your truck!rofl

When is someone going to bob a HET?

I'd make a big rollback out of it.
