It could have been a dump truck, light wrecker, maybe a water or fuel tanker too. I can't imagine what the extra cable would be for though unless the powered rear implement fueled and governed itself through that cable once in operation.
Maybe an auger truck?
I'm feeling better now. Probably was just a small stone, I get them often. If you need me to come and get you out just let me know. I could bring my wrecker, but I think my deuce would pull that out. I buried my wrecker to the axles behind my shop and pulled it out sideways from the front end...
Just don't be too hesitant to offer to pay something for the used oil if they hem haw around about it. You may find that most of these places actually get paid by the collection companies now. At least that is the case here. But hey, even at $1.00 a gallon it would be around a 75% savings over...
Just some food for thought here: In almost every single case, used cooking/ vegetable/ peanut oil is a much better source of fuel simply for the fact that it is cleaner from where we start with it. It will never have dissolved metals in it like WMO does. Think of it this way, what is more...
Yes you would do well to upgrade to the spin on filters. Most spin on filters filter down to smaller micron levels and catch more all together. You can run the WMO if you just let it settle after adding solvent (gasoline or kerosene) and then filtering it well before putting it in the fuel tank...
In house is the only really effective way to get this done. The WMO needs time to settle no matter what, and I still have yet to find a solvent or combination of solvents that will make carbon drop free from oil quickly. The carbon and dissolved solids are your enemy here. They are what destroy...
Yeah you will learn ground conditions once you get stuck a few times. Experience goes a long way here. But yes, you can engage the front axle while moving.
The cap is on the power connector. I did know that much. I've read through the T.Ms so I know the basics. I have cleaned the contacts with a pencil eraser. It is an LS-454 speaker, so now I know it needs a rewire, but that still does not explain why I get no love from the handsets. The H-250...
So I received the battery adapter from Brooke at PRC68.com yesterday, picked up some good fresh Duracells today and powered up my 77 off of the vehicle mount for the first time today. I am getting zero audio out of either of my H250 handsets ( one of which is brand new) or either of my external...
I have a 929 dumptruck that needs to go to Jacksonville. The guy that it belongs to can't get a reasonable quote for transport. It's only 760 miles thereabouts.
