First you called it alternator and in the text you say generator... Which is it? The 25 amp generator with separate regulator or the later 60 amp alternator of which there are two iterations...?? I have a used Delco Remy Generator and Regulator from a 5 ton available and I have the wiring...
Boy, the old manuals with real pictures sure are more fun... That little bent spring is the same on the 5 tons, too.. I would bet the folks at Memphis EQ have em NOS.
watch out for corrosion in there...cheap GM crap.. I use a standard military connector in the trailer plug on the CUCV with a flat four on the other end that plugs into any of the adaptors up to the 7 flat or round and if necessary just run the electric brake blue wire separately from your...
It is resting at CME in Miami... in a nice dry place.. The one I have is 2930-01-373-5991 part # 1882370 Malmstrom is a vestige of the cold war... My son was there working down in a big hole trying to keep the ICBMs serviceable...hower Minot was colder at 60 Below...for sure.
Scrap now has mutilation required and witnessing by the gummint for folks who have the scrap contract..saves em from letting some little demil item out. Check the sales in Maine at Kittery..all items are marked either mutilate or mutilation not required..you can get the answers from DRMS in...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: 5 ton Transfer Case Ops
Did the same operation on a M911 one time.. weird truck is in front wheel drive most of the time and the xfer shifts in the rears off road...easy to break if you forget to release the trailer brakes when loaded...Detroits can torque break most anything..
Give me more details on what you need for instruments.. I have a couple takeout panels I can strip for you. what kind of TL etc.. lots of stuff here...
RE: Swing Up seat mount.
Just part of the seat system for the troops in the back...as stated above.. I believe the B1 model did not have them as the spare was mounted on the door frame Left front.
That pic above looks suspiciously like a M125. Note the 45000 front winch and the ventilated side panels and the big rubber etc etc or maybe on the M139 Bridge truck axles...as I see spacers in the front end. However this is not the truck I had indicated in my first post in this string.
That is the 900 series version of the recovery body... Makes it more handy than kneeling on the deck to operate the recovery winch...45000#.... Of course when you are in the woods and scrape a tree with the right hand side of the truck, what is the first thing after the mirror that you rip...
Certainly the wiring is not to code...!! Can't ya just follow the wires to their terminus and decide that the apparatus they were hooked to is not there anymore...??? Better than finding dead mice under the dash, but not much.
Oil is just a buck a quart if it is not getting on the disc brakes..you just keep adding a quart a year and all is good... remember you modded axle may not be properly vented and that you do not fill to the hole cold... fill to one finger knuckle below hole...allow for expansion.
You missed my point, I guess... Calling it a Hemtt radiator is not enough...the NSN will give the appiication...by model of Hemtt...then perhaps someone would have some interest.
