TM says 85-120psi on the gauge and adjust to 105psi. If you have it set at 120 which is the limit of the gauge I have in my truck how do I know what I have ? Is it stuck, is it reading more/less ? I know lots of people set it to the max, I prefer to use the TM.

When I put my air o steering on I left the regulator off due to the high failure rates. My truck air pressure is set at about 105. When I installed it I put air tool oil in the ram and drag link and worked it around. It works great !

Air tool oil only. You don't know what impact some other lubricant might have on the seals and other air systems on the truck. Your local farm supply or even sears probably has some. You can also add a squirt to your brake pack when your under there as well !

Oh, grease the heck out of the drag link when your reassembling. Also, put some air tool oil in the ram and drag link openings to get some lubricaiton in there before you close everything up. Good luck !

The rubber gromets on the drag link are not used for the air o steering. I will pm you my email so you can email me back and I'll send you the directions if you don't have them. Two people greatly help the install. It took me about 5 hours. You don't really need to loosen the tie rod...

I know the big difference is the super single setup of the A1. Is there any other difference? I tried searching but couldn't find any specifics. Did the transmission ratios change to accomodate the bigger single tires ? Or, did they just single them and make a speedo correction ? If they did...

I added an extra instument light and it helped a lot ! Did this when I changed the panel to incorporate a boost and egt gauge.

I keep my covers on. Don't want any bugs messing up the air lines.

This is what I used and it worked great ! 1/4" Air Hydraulic Riveter The drilling is what is awful.

try a little heat and pb or wd to work it loose. Also try to tighten slighty then loosen, good luck.
