Ok, got all the little things done so she is road worthy. I need to find out about my slight air leak at the middle axle left wheel when the parking brake is released. When the brake is applied no issues. Here's some more pics as promised.
No, the old buzzer would stay on regardless even if I bypassed both pressure switches.
So, I had two problems in the system that caused the lengthy trouble shooting, bad buzzer and pressure switches !
Warning module replaced and got the system working with just one pressure switch on the primary tank. Have another pressure switch on order for the secondary tank.
The 3 lever light switch showed up today but too late so I'll install it tomorrow.
Did some cosemtic painting on the outside...
Got the new failsafe warning module in. Put it in and guess what it works ! I did have to bypass both pressure switches to see if it would go out and it did. Did some more trouble shooting and only one of my pressure switches is bad so I put the good one on the primary air tank. Works...
So, even though its a tractor I add 20,000 lbs to the empty weight of 22,240 for a total of 42,240 lbs.
I guess I don't need to worry about the max towed load ? See attached pic.
My deuce was much easier.
Started to fill out my sf 97 and not sure what to put in the blanks to submit to GL. I have read through the posts but could not find anything on tractors.

Read the first post. I did check both pressure sensors.
The module doesn't only control/warn regarding air pressure, the hand brake warning is also tied into it. These trucks have multiple systems tied into each other for safe operation like todays cars. Removing a sensor or warning...
warning module on order from white owl. 3 lever light switch on the way from Eriks military. Now I just need to get a heater core from Boyce, waiting on a return phone call to see if they have one. Also orderd some rapco paint to do some touch up. The passenger floor holes to fix will top of...
I think I might have found the solution to the low air warning issue. See that in another 5 ton post. Now I just need to get that parking brake air thing figured out. These trucks have a lot of safety features that tie into each other making trouble shooting even more difficult.
What are you going to do with it ?
If its going to be a highway vehicle I think the 925 might be a little better. The 925 is more complex than the 813, many safety features. I have a new to me 932a1 and am spending time in the tm's to fix the little issues and learn the truck. Technical...
I talked with Boyce equipment and their technician said the buzzer is integrated in the failsafe warning control module. They are working at finding me a replacement.
I've been through the TM's with only one reference in Vol 1 24-1 page 2-160 regarding this. Both of my pressure switches are working. When I disconnect the main cable from the failsafe warning control module the light and buzzer go out. The TM says to replace the buzzer but I can't find where...
My low air pressure warning stays on all the time even when air pressure is at 110psi. I found a loose pressure switch attached to nothing that I think might be it. We'll see !
I'm not sure if that is it. With the hand brake on the truck makes air pressure OK, not real fast. When I have it off I actually loose more air than the truck makes at idle ? My air warning stays on all the time even when the pressure reaches 110psi. I did find what looks like a loose...
