Bilstein shocks are overpriced junk. They perform great, but will only last a couple of months of on road driving. I learned my lesson over a few tries with them. And if you are one day past your warranty they will not help you. Spend your money on some other brand of shocks.
Recently bought four M1009s and one M1008. Three of the M1009s and the M1008 have rust in the rocker panels, the 1008 also has rust in the cab corners. Where do you guys suggest I get patch panels? I don't want to get stuck with thin cheap crappy replacements. Then again, I may just sell them...
Nothing wrong with the normal 6TL batteries if you take care of them and have a properly functioning charging system. I keep my batteries full and put them on a desulfating charger every couple months. I've even brought batteries back from the grave with a good desulfating cycle.
Roger that guys, I was just unsure if it went through on my credit card or not. Usually if it won't then it says my card was declined on the invoice. It did not say that on this one. I almost always win the auction using the credit card, it gets declined( because it's a debit card and my bank...
Ok, just won a deuce out of Hooks, Texas. (Lucky me) I knew it would require an euc, but I am not sure whether the invoice needs to be paid now, or after the euc clears? I just don't want to screw this up.
Bear in mind though that if the driveshaft slung itself out, then there is a good chance that many other maintenance regimens on that truck have been neglected. So cost of purchase, time spent wrenching, and parts purchased to get it up to snuff may make up the rest of the price to equal that of...
You got it right. I would go for the $3500 one if It was me, unless the other guy will come down like you suggested. $6000 is not insanely priced, but cheaper is always better if you don't mind doing a little work and getting your hands dirty.
Really appreciate the use of your yard and the parts you sold me. Hope to see you next time around. I meant to shake your hand but I had a pretty bad cold, so probably good that I didn't.
Well I tried to get ahold of CSMdavis but his inbox is full. Anyone else know how I can get ahold of him? I'm going to pick up two of my trucks Wednesday, but I need a place to keep the other two until Saturday.
