Got my remote res installed. Decided to put it in the engine bay against the firewall. I can open the side panel on the drivers side for a quick look. Definitly a great and inexpensive safety upgrade.

I had a slight coolant leak ended up being the lower radiator hose. It would only leak when the truck was at operating temp. It was at the clamp so a twist or two on the screw was all it took.

Your speedometer will be off by about 4mph slow. All you need is a 5 ton speedo adapter to make the correction.

I'm leaning toward the air compressor and or generator to check first since it is very easy. If the air compressor let loose I believe it uses engine oil for lube. You might want to pull the pan to make sure no metal from the air compressor made it down there. Exit 212 is not far away. I...

M35A2, I'm looking for the 90 degree elbow for the outside intake and some of the ducting. Anybody know of a source. I've checked the normal suppliers of parts, no luck. Ideas ?

Take a look at the IP and see if it looks like its been adjusted. Mine has a small cover over the nuts and is safety wired. You could have a lot of little things that caused the big problem. I'm concerned about the condition of your oil looking like new after two hours of running ? But you said...

Always fun doing upgrades. I'm in the middle of putting 395's on mine as well as a passenger spring seat and instrument upgrades.

My install cost about $100 total. Would I do it again ? YES !

The bullet install on mine went well. As far as sound reduction there is some. It reduced that heavy thruuuum sound. Although it is a little more quiet I still wear ear plugs because its still very loud, just not as loud. Idle noise is much better.

My instrument lights work very well also !
