    Unless it has a locker in it with 1 wheel on the ground the other wheel will spin when jacked up.

    A stock M35A2 is rated for 10k towing. Cutting a axle out will lower that and as wreckerman said you will be lacking brake power. I'm sure you can get a 939 series 5 ton cheaper and have a truck that will do the job .

    Dates on the engine tag , axle tags ect. may give some insight if they have been replaced. But doesn't mean the truck was rebuilt.

    It is the purchessers responsibility to provide Gl with the proper information on where they will title it , not GL's job to guess.Many states require GL to collect sales tax unless proper forms are on file.
