    I've Had a Good Run...

Saw the top off and use it as a summer truck or even better, engineer a roll cage in it and use a bikini top. When life deals you lemons, make lemonade. Old foagies, remember what a Carson Top was?

    M101 A2 tire suggestions

What size tires are on the E350? If 16" might could run that size.

    M101 A2 tire suggestions

The 235/85 is a fine trailer tire. What are you towing with. I see no real reason to swap size unless it is to match the towing vehicle. Stick with "E" tires of a known brand and you should be just fine.

Hey, welcome aboard from sunny So Fla! Always interested in the new Ohio contingent. Looks like you got a good start there. Off topic, is Castle Skateland still there? In reference to the steering wheel cracks, you OH guys should recognize those, they are expansion joints!

    I almost feel guilty...

One must be courteous. I would drive over, let it idle in the drive and personally thanks him. Maybe offer to hold the flashlight for him. Moments like this are priceless and the one thing I miss most of deuce ownership.

    First Deuce Winter Experience

I might add that a judiciously place weight (absolute rear of bed) of around 1000# will make the deuce much more friendly in snow. Putting the weight in the front of the bed, not so much. Reporting in from S Fla. (But not born here).

    I've Had a Good Run...

The A5200GL locks from American are hard has hades! Not many cutters can cut them without some detempering. I've found it best to remove them with a cutoff wheel and a grinder. They laugh at Sawzall blades as well.

I've read that bulletin but couldn't find it for this thread. Had a friend that assembled wreckers and he always pitched them.

    M116A3 New Owner Newbie Questions

Interesting observation. FWIW the military has been using cheap o truck tires on trailers for years with some degree of success.

I find it ironic that a group with such a massive carbon foorprint , such as ourselves, would have anything to say about weather, hot or cold!

CUCV Electric GP card Backup Plan?

If you want to keep it OEM, there are some NOS units on ebay. Other than that, Antennaclimber's are a much improved version.

Antennaclimber produces and markets cards. Send him a PM, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
