How many miles are on the truck? How many hours are on the engine? Gray, white smoke is unburnt fuel. Is the engine up to operating temp when this happens? Try running it at least 20 miles, with at least 2000 rpm's and see if it clears up.
That's just WRONG!!!! Although they did a great job, the chrome is too much for me. I noticed there it a logo on the tool box under the drivers door. What did it say?
They are the same as the gasser civi trucks. Four weel parts wholesalers carries them in about 4 colors. On the motor mounts you will have to reuse the metal parts with the ploy inserts. The instructions that come with the kit are pretty clear.
Thanks for the info. My plan was to keep a set of hubs under the seat. On road trips i was looking for a way to help with the fuel milage. I didn't know they were working on some 5-ton lockouts. Looks like i better start saving$$$.
I'd check the return springs at the transfer case brake shoes. Did you ever drive with the parking brake on? if so mabye the grease in the joints where the levers move the shoes cooked and locked up the parts. Try using a grease gun to purge the parrfin out. See if you can push the parking...
A 5 ton tractor may be in my future. So if i install the valve to "unlock the roller clutch" can i run desplined hubs on road trips? Will this cause any T-case trouble? Or would i need to pull the front driveshaft?
We have a m-60 at our museum. And i'm told it will run in 5 cylinders. It's a v-12. We have just about all the manuals on it so if you need anything let me know and i'll look it up for you. We have a few guys who have worked on it for a few years now and they have done a wonderful job...
I feel your pain on sinking the spare. Sounds like your FL sand is too soft for that trick. What angle do you think you used? I've never bent a rim, you must have been really stuck. I have been thinking of building a plate with the same bolt battern as the rim to make hooking the cable up...
