just jump the two big terminals on the relay with a 10 gauge or larger wire for a few seconds and see if the plugs get hot....that will test the plugs...not the relay or the card... ACE

I question that these are radials and not bias as they should be... 900 R20? vs 900 X 20.... Remember not to use bias tubes in a radial tire...etc etc. etc...ACE
Most oil pressure and temp gauges come with an assortment of pipe thread adaptors to fit multiple applications. If you are buying commercial, that is.. The ones for the Mil spec trucks are all the same size... ACE
Zero is the silent partner and does mostly batteries.. Harder to get now with new security controls... The infamous deep water fording cap on Mil Spec Batteries makes em a controlled item... ACE

There should be a distinctive hiss-clunk when your sprag shifts from forward to reverse.. there should be no prolonged air noise... You sprag may be lazy... A hard brake pedal is an indication of either back pressure from the airpak... or Master Cyl blockage... Have you cracked a wheel...
Get your manuals for the CUCV and read them in bed for a coupla weeks..the Lube order will tell you what liquids you truck likes to consume and in which quantity.... ACE

And remember that the manual shut down is a one way... it is not spring loaded to close...it is a true emergency shutdown valve... and you have to go under the hood to correct the original problem and to reset the valve....if you try to push it back in from the dash you just bend...
Your lube order has pictures of the location of the drain plugs. DRMO won't drain any oil, but they will make the Unit which is turning in the equipment do it, especially if the DRMO is located on an Air Force Base...finger tight is good enough some folks cuz it was time to go for a donut...
Usta be that the winch models only had the H/L up... but for ease of standardization and training the dropout mechanics who installed winches later...they started putting em all on the top... ACE (that was after the electric horn was superceded by the obnoxious one)
All the same things you would look for in any used vehicle purchase.. There are no known issues that appear on all M800s... the standards of rust, tires, oil in water... brake pedal up and clutch free play, and completeness of engine compt... Bring a couple of the cheap car start paks and hook...
