    I would offer to pay the costs involved for the current owner to get the title then buy it . The costs should be the same for them to title it as it would be for you to , if they can't get a title your probably not going to have much better luck if you are in the same state.

    The fluids won't mix that's why a full flush is required to change to a different grade of oil. Have you downloaded and read the -10 TM ? Reading this will save you big money from repairs caused by improper shutdown and not using reverse in low range.

    I would just replace the seal . The seal won't cost much more than the Bar's leak . Just download the TM it is not a hard fix to do it right.

    Your best bet is to look up the parts in the parts TM and google the part number . Looking this up will tell you the correct name for the parts you are needing , then you can use the cross reference .

    The bottom line on V.I.N.'s is the number stamped in the frame , data tags have been known to be swapped before and after being surplused out . If it is a door tag and the door changed who is to say the data tag matches the frame without actual inspection of both numbers.
