RE: Re: RE: CARC paint
I would not use CARC due to the application and health problems.. The solution is to use the same colors in air dry enamel... RAM
Fuel is draining back from the injector return lines... they are transparent and you should be able to see the air bubbles.....if you tighten too tight, they will leak also...be sure to have all three filters in good shape... and drain the water from the primary weekly... And a reminder for you...

Don't forget to disable the sprag or the front drive shaft and differential will be spinning all the time you are moving... Shut off the air so it remains in disengaged position... RAM
The A3 has not proven to be a good unit... Cat Diesel, automatic and CTIS all on a platform designed in 1949... The FMTV is a poor copy of a old foreign design... the new Marine Corps Oshkosh is the cat's meow... RAM
Gotta keep em greased and oiled all the rotating lever points... and on my trucks, I add a second release spring..the little anti rattle spring is a wonderful thing too...The early versions of the cable had a grease fittingl and were steel wrapped...what wonderful items... Now you can spray...

new air governors are cheap and easy to install.... Water or ice in it?? leaks in the glad hand valves... Hook your shop air compressor up to system and go around with the engine off and listen for leaks or use the dishwashing soap and water in a spray bottle to find the leaks... don;t forget...
just jack the nose up with a floor jack and off you go....or you put a tanker bar down thru the lunette eye and use it as a lateral lever to steer....put some additional weight on the back of the trailer to lessen the nose wheel load...RAM

RE: TM
I would suggest that it is 9-2320 not 9-232 RAM However...I always preach that you should get the hard copies and read them in bed for a coupla weeks before trying to work on the trucks... Been doing that since my first M35 in 1963...
The cylinders are not interchangeable... in fact they are completely different looking...the last few years the gummint has had the contractors stamp em 2 1/2 ton only or 5 ton only... M54 series and M800 series use the same... M35 and M211 look the same but have different check valves...
You can check for presence of tread wear indicators...makes em relatively recent.... and the plethora of warnings molded in... more warnings ...less age... aka newer... RAM
