List the surge lunette and brake parts on the SS forum.
I sold both sets of my trailers within a week.
Tires are hard to ship, so I would list them on craigslist or contact a local 4X4 shop.
Looks great and dropped the ride height a few inches. I like the black rims and centers.
I hear you on the local tire prices a couple years back you could get e rated tires under $100.00 I paid $169.00 each for my
current rollers 235-85-16 You would think with all of the 17" to 22" tires the...
Spring over is easy, But to use the parking brakes you must swap the backing plates side to side so the
cable is on top and out of the way.

If the Surge brakes are toast remove the lunette and replace it with an adjustible channel and croft lunette ring.
Weld the channel high and it will sit level with your CUCV.
Interesting!
I would say a frankentrailer.
M101a2 surge assembly and tongue angles, axle, spings mounts and shocks.
The rest is fabed for a special duty by the motor pull.
Stout design what is the size of the frame?
What are your plans?
Nice work, Like the wheels!
I bought my lug nuts off ebay after heading to the auto parts to figure out the thread and pitch.
Looking forward to seeing the wheels mounted.
I believe they were 3/8" carriage bolts with odd sized nuts.
The nuts were 3/8 thread but a larger body size.
These are 8 the bolts that held the tub to the frame that insert into the cross rails under the tub.
So you feel a 1101 is too big behind a full size truck?
what about without the cover and bows on?
Did it stick out too far on the sides?
My 101A2 works great behind my 2500HD and if the truck makes it the trailer will too.
I was looking at 1101 and 1102 trailers to rebuild.
Surge pintles I have sold $75.00 and $125.00 plus shipping.
They are heavy!
Remove the Surge assembly then unbolt the nose piece.
When using the original safety chains, a spacer may be needed to clear the adjustible channel.
Take the trailer to Trailer World and talk to the guys there about an axle for the trailer.
You may be able to custom order the correct bolt patern or you may need adapters for the wheels you want to use.
