I wish I could attend This year I went with North Pole Delivery Service and used Operation Christmas Child as a sponcer.
We had a blast and handed out 500 flyers.
It was a simple job.
I bought a 2" weld on receiver and cut a hole into the rear cross member to slide it into.
bridged the tube to the second crossmember and welded it up.
I then bought a 7 blade plug and drilled a large hole in the crossmember and bolted it in.
Wired into the 101A2 taillight...
I like the looks of the independent suspension, but it is just too easy to just get a new axle
with the correct hubs and bolt it in. I lucked out with my M101A2 in that it was a 8 bolt GM pattern
Like my 2500hd.
Throw som CUCV rims on it and it will be military.
Use this thread, I want to see thr progress.
I wonder how one would tow from California to Pennsylvania?
Very Nice work!
Like the Channel hitch and coiled safety cables.
The trailers are so useful hauling dirt, Expo camping and Parade floats.

Great job!
That is a sweet trailer!
I searched for local hay trailers to me and they started at $300.00 for relics.
You could hold a barn dance on that floor!
Very nice.
I could see spending $300.00 for that!
I pulled the two just for the parade, I did test drive it when I wired up the M101A2 for a tandem tow.
It pulls great and snakes around any curve. All wheels are in the same track and the trailers are level.
One or Two the truck pulled just fine. " just no way to back them up in line"
I did...
Our town had it's 2012 Light up night this past Saturday November 17th
The Harley family builds a float for the parade and this year we wanted to spread the word about
Operation Christmas Child We called them and asked if we could use their logo on the truck and distribute flyers to people...
When I read this I automaticly thought about the scene in the movie SEVEN
where Brad pit kept asking What's in the box?

I would use steel electrical conduit.
make your hoops and then set them into tubes in the floor
Just like the 116 and 105 flat bed generator trailers.
I would use 1" or larger to make it sturdy and hold up better.
Check Mytarps.com for a price on a machine cover.
mine is holding up well to 24 /...
