The RED paint has held up well for the past year.
I sanded the tub lightly scraped any loose or peeling paint.
Primed any bare areas then sprayed the RED on a nice hot day.
The paint flash dried very fast and after several coats looked good.
The Griswold stove came from a garage clean out...
I have two pieces of 5/16" chains that have lift load snap hooks
they are long enough to allow the tailgate to lay flat when open.
I keep them in the tongue box.
1/16" cable 24" including the thimble loops.
They are there to keep the tailgate pins from walking off.
The cables do not swing around and chip the red paint.
I drop the tailgate down when open.
I always like to hear what people think of my RED trailer.
Looks better than the over priced Junk trailers listed on the Pittsburgh craigslist.
Sell off the good stuff, wheels axle, springs, pintle, tie down rings then scrap the rest.
Make your money back plus.
We needed a sponcer to win the $200.00 prize for best float
and went with Operation Christmas Child The float will be the truck pulling the M101A2 filled with boxes and the 116A2 will have a crate with reindeer. Lots of lights and reflective signs are being made. I will post pictures when I get...
Deck down and painted, mud flaps mounted to keep the slop off people behind me.
New Bull Dog 2" adjustible coupler, Wires Lights and ready to go.
I plan on tandem towing this one behind my 101A2 at this years Christmas Parade in my town.
I would say it was a good deal.
You can't go to Home Depot and get a trailer built like that for under $500.00.
It was probably over $6000.00 when new.
