I have a question on the same lines too. When I picked up my truck, all the lights worked fine. Now though, when I hit the turn signals, they stay on solid until I tun them off. This happened when I hit a big bump in the road. I haven't check the tail lights, but I think they work fine...
Re: RE: tag
It's not notarized, but I can have it done. What all information did yours have on it?
Per dmv.org :
* The name, address, and signature of the previous owner
* The name and address of the new owner
* The year, make, and vehicle identification number (VIN) of the...
I bought my Deuce in Gerogia from a private party with a BoS. He got the truck in trade from another guy and only recieved a BoS for the truck then. The guy I bought it from never had it titled and hadn't been titled as far as he knew. Well, I'm now on the mission to get the truck titled and...
This should be STRESSED! If you're yanking something out, do not use a cable or chain, it'll become a deadly whip when it breaks... not IF it breaks. Use a recovery strap as stated, whatever you're using to pull with, put something over it in the middle. Think saddlebags... a heavy jacket...
The UPS here in Louisville is actually talking about expanding it's work force. DHL is tlking about contracting the UPS hub here to handle some of their freight. I'd blame cost cuts due to fuel prices for the slow delivery times. They're consolidating deliveries now to make better use of that...
ANY kind of front blocks should be illegal in EVERY state. They're not safe at all, the add-a-leafs are the closest thing to lift blocks that should be on the front axle, period.
I'm considering just sticking w/ the non-turbo and turning up the fuel some. The bigger exhaust wouldn't directly increase power, but the lower EGT's would enable me to run a little more fuel safely. I'm working on getting a pyrometer set up now.
Is there any power to be gained (or even lost) by removing the stock muffler and smaller diameter exhaust from a non-turbo truck? It's seems like choking down the exhaust from 3.5" to about 2.5" would cause excessive back pressure. Anyone have any experience with opening up the exhaust on...
Re: RE: Pyrometers
What all is needed besides the gauge? I like the K-type guage that has the yellow and red bars in it for warnings. I can't really find out anything else about what's need to install this gauge though.
Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Really Weird Wireing Problem
I had this happen on a car I owned. The electric fan that was installed was wired up directly to a switched power source, no relay. It kept killing the battery in the car, it'd last about 2-3 months and just go dead. There was never a...
