I did my interior in 383 green rattle can and rattle can primer. Turned out good. Pressured washed sanded, primed, and then painted. A little shinny but very close. CARC has a real depth dark flat tone.

This makes at least three stories I have heard of wheel bearing failure. I think this only stresses the importance of inspecting your bearings to ensure they are adjusted and greased correctly. It would suck to do this on the side of the road.
Sounds like you have an alternator problem. I would just double check all your connections, grounds, and belt tension before you remove it. When adjusted properly the niddle should be on the white tick.
If you fast foward to 1:34 it shows the batt gauge.
