The Humvee dipstick tube is different as well as the dipsitck itself, but that dosen't mean that you can't carefully bend the tube and trim off the top portion to make it work for your application.
OK! The DS 3-70-28 Kit was just what I was looking for. It's installed and I should have time to flush the Coolant system next Sunday and go for a ride. I've wwed this Rescue Truck for six years but other things took priority, but next week I will at least take it for a drive around the...
Sometimes a simple thing like the clear plastic indicator that slides in the black plastic decorative housing that surrounds the shifter can bind and make it unbelievebly difficult to work the shifter. It's worth unscrewing it and seeing what happens.
I'm looking for a part number or a civilian application from which I can identify these two little pieces so I can order them. I have a Crew Cab Crash Rescue truck that I have installed a Normal Dually Bed on and the wide style of Rear Dual Wheel Axle as used in the M1028A3 CUCV's. I bought a...
If you have a civi windshield from a hard top or wagon and you want to use a military soft top, you should only need the channel that the front edge of the top slides into. This channel mounts to the windshield frame with probably ten screws. I don't know the name or the part number of this channel.
The California desert and Camp Roberts for that matter are good places to leave a car that is not taken care ofas any place that I can think of in regard to moisture, which is the thing that really causes the most trouble with cars that sit. Way better than in many garages in the rust belt, but...
That one had the one alternator missing. Looks to have been parked indoors. One of the two of them still had some wrapped items on the passenger seat so I'd say that it was put somewhere indoors and forgotten. The closest thing to a jeep in a crate for the CUCV world that I have seen so far.
If you are trying to use a civilian Hummer H1 soft top, you need to buy some pieces from AMG. The pieces make the last foot of each side of the top surface of the windshield frame more squared off in overall shape. Then maybe some sort of channel to attach the front of the civi soft top would...
These are used with the turbo 400 on the Humvees so you'll have to do the same thing to make them fit on the Turbo 350. These are full time four wheel drive with a Differentiated High position, High Lock Position and Low Lock. Might not be what you want to install in your car.
Are you serious? You diden't know that you could place another bid higher than that $5,200 bid and that price isen't what ends the auction, but that the time running out at the specified time or after the fifteen minute rule ends things? These auctions are not "buy it now" auctions like you see...
There isen't one inside there Kurt. The Detent cable takes care of that, but I seem to remember one wire, I think it was on the right hand side of the trans, rearward of where the dentent cable enters the trans. I thought it was for the STE ICE system. Maybe a sender for a pressure reading? I...
Ok, It has something that's called a Kick Down switch. If that item is disconnected, then when driving at a low enough speed in third gear and depressing the throttle pedal enough, it should not shift "kick down" into second gear. Is that correct? Then if the switch is re connected and of course...
Milbrio9, The humvee has a mechanical Detent Control cable assy that works off of a rod that is attached to the Throttle braket. It is mechanical and is adjusted by loosening the lock nut and threading it forward or rearwards to reach the desired result. This adjustment is done at the left rear...
Your problem may be with the engine not making power. It could be as simple as the glass plunger that is in the nipple that is located at the top front of the Injector Pump top cover. The nipple has a glass plunger that is held against returning fuel from the injectors by a spring. If this...
Wow, I have a lot of PM's. I'll have to weigh a crate so shipping cost can be figured. If someone has an account with a shipping company, they may have a better rate if they arrange the shipping than I will get as a walk in. I have a total of sixteen of these kits with four removed from their...
The Price I had in mind was $300. This is top quality kit as usual, with excellent wire harness's, relays and a very detailed instruction manual. It has plenty of info for most people to figure out what needs switched power and what not. The crates that the kits are in are large 38x36x32. I can...
I'm wondering if there is any interest in some NOS A/C Kits that I have. They are for the MTVR vehicle, but are very comprehensive and look to be able to be adapted to just about anything. Here are some fotos.
