As I understand it's common for the rear main seal to leak oil. It then travels down past the clutch out that drain hole. Also if a deuce is run at high rpm it will cause the same issue.
A simple way of know would be to remove that inspection plate.
If you let the cans turn when you tighten down the filter the cup and spring can jam. This would cause the spring to crush the filters. Ask me how I know this....
That hole on the bottom behind the engine I would spray break cleaner in there. All that oil can cause your clutch to slip.
Mine came out of service with out one. I found mostly it helps keep the engine compartment dry. Any excess oil and smoke hits the ground.
It's the blue hose in the middle if any did not know.
You need the following
3" sided socket Grainger
3/4" torque wrench Harbor Freight
1 1/2" budd socket McMaster
3/4" impact gun Harbor Freight
3/4" socket
Flat head
Pry bar
Hammer
Chair
Gloves
Grease

Bought mine from harbor freight to. I nick named it " play maker". Here is a picture with a special socket that has the square on the inside and 1 1/2" on the outside. I can take the outer and inner wheel off no problem.
Sorry guys I lost the box I will have to look it up in my order history from McMaster. I am 99% sure it's epdm but I'll know Monday for sure.
